Learn how to create and define custom categories in Cleardox with your own searches to tailor the redaction process to your specific needs.
You have the option to create your own categories with custom searches for the content you wish to anonymize or redact.
You can create a new category either via the Fast Track menu => “Create New” or within the Fast Track module itself (located on the far right side).
Steps to Create a Custom Category
-
Create the Category:
- Give your category a relevant name.
-
Choose Pseudonymization Logic:
- Select a pseudonymization logic under "Replace with." If you want to anonymize or redact using black redaction, you need to create the category first and change it afterward - see the related article here.
-
Select Order Logic:
- Optionally, choose an order logic (1,2,3 or A,B,C).
-
Create Your Own Anonymization or redaction Search:
- Enter words directly into the list or create your own CSV file for the search.
-
Save the Category:
- Click "Save." The category is now created.
Note: The search will only take effect the next time you upload the document to be anonymized. If you want the search to apply to the document you are currently anonymizing, you need to upload it again.
