# Can I create templates for header, footer and frontpages in Cleardox?
## Learn how to create templates for your header and footer and frontpage in Cleardox by using the Legal Binder feature when preparing court material.
Yes, you can easily create templates in Cleardox. This is a great way of ensuring, that everyone in the company uses the same standard design, as well as a way of saving time when working on your project.
**Why use templates?**
Creating templates for your binders has several advantages:
- **Consistency**: Ensure that all documents across your organization follow the same standard layout and design.
- **Efficiency**: Save time by reusing the same setup instead of creating headers, footers and front pages from scratch for each project.
- **Professionalism**: Present your court material or legal documents in a clear and uniform way.
- **Collaboration**: By sharing templates, colleagues can work on projects with the same formatting, avoiding errors or inconsistencies.
In short: templates help you maintain quality and save time at the same time.
#### How to create templates
1. Go to **Legal Binder**.
2. Open your **Front page**.
3. Fill in the information you want in the header and footer and frontpage.
4. Click **Create header and footer template** or **Create page template** in the top right corner.
5. Give your template a name.
6. Toggle the **Share** button if you want the template to be available for your colleagues.
7. Click **Save**.
You have now created a template, that everyone in your organization who uses Cleardox can apply to their projects.
#### Tip: Use shared templates across teams
Shared templates are especially useful if multiple people are preparing material for the same case or client. With a shared standard, you don’t need to double-check formatting - you can focus on the content instead.
Click **Create header and footer template** or **Create page template** in the top right corner.
Give your template a name.
Toggle the **Share** button if you want the template to be available for your colleagues.
Click **Save**
