Assign a unique background color to each redaction or pseudonymization category to improve readability and quickly distinguish between different types of sensitive information. ### Why Use Different Category Colors? When working with documents containing multiple types of sensitive information, using different colors can make it much easier to review your work. For example, you may choose one color for personal information, another for financial data, and a third for confidential business information. This provides a clearer visual overview and helps you quickly identify which category has been applied throughout the document. Changing the background color only affects the visual appearance of the category. It does not change the underlying redaction or pseudonymization logic. ### How to Change a Category Color You first need to upload your documents to Cleardox. Once this is done, you have to follow these steps: 1. Find the **category** you want to edit. 3. The change is saved automatically, and you can now start redacting your document. Once saved, all future redactions or pseudonymizations created with that category will use the selected background color. Existing annotations using the category will also reflect the new color. ### When Is This Useful? Using color-coded categories is especially helpful when: - Working with large or complex documents. - Collaborating with colleagues on the same project. - Distinguishing between different types of personal or confidential information. - Reviewing documents before exporting or sharing them.
