How to edit the header and footer

  • Hover over the header or footer area to activate editing

  • By default, there are five editable sections (e.g. left, centre, right)

  • Adjust the number of sections and field sizes to fit your layout

  • Upload your company logo or insert page numbers where relevant

  • Modify font style and spacing for a clean, professional appearance

Keep it clean

Avoid cluttering the header or footer with too much text or imagery. A single line with the case name, document title or logo often gives the best result.

Ensure consistency

Apply the same header and footer setup across all frontpages and table of contents pages within your binder.
Consistency reinforces professionalism and compliance in legal documentation.

Test before printing

Always check the layout in preview to ensure no text or graphics are too close to the margins. What looks good on screen should also look right in print.

Tip

A well-designed header and footer give your document a polished, professional finish — and help ensure consistency across all materials submitted to court or shared with external parties.
