You will learn how to use Cleardox' redaction software to correct pseudonymized content that has been grouped or separated incorrectly. Discover how to efficiently manage and adjust pseudonymized names and entities to ensure accurate anonymisation
For example, Cleardox will always attempt to find variations of names and group them together to ensure correct pseudonymization throughout the document. For instance, the name Oliver Fjellvang may appear in three ways (first name, last name, or full name).
In Cleardox's anonymization solution, all variations are normally grouped together so the user can accept the content, after which pseudonymization (e.g., A or P1) takes place.
However, if there are multiple people with the same first name, Cleardox may unintentionally group different individuals together.
The opposite can also happen: Cleardox may separate two entities (e.g., two different organizations) that are actually the same organization or company. In this case, they should be combined into one.
How to separate incorrectly grouped pseudonymized content:
- Find the relevant name/word in the sidebar in Cleardox.
- Click the arrow to expand the box and display all variations of the word.
- Identify the word or name that does not match the other variations.
- Drag it out of the box; it will now get its own distinct pseudonym.
- Continue dragging out until you are finished.
How to combine incorrectly separated pseudonymized content:
- Find the relevant name/word in the sidebar in Cleardox.
- Drag it on top of another box in the menu. They will now be combined and pseudonymized consistently.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your redaction process is accurate and consistent, making Cleardox an effective redaction tool and software solution. This helps maintain the integrity of your anonymization efforts and ensures that your legal documents are handled correctly.
