How to Delete Pages in Cleardox

Yes, you can delete pages in Cleardox if there's content you don't want. Unlike anonymizing a whole page where the page remains visible to the user (read more about this in our article here), deleting a page removes it completely from your document collection.

You can delete pages in Cleardox in two ways:

1. Mark and Delete Pages Individually

This method allows you to select and delete specific pages.

1. Navigate to Organize Pages: From the dropdown menu at the top, select "Organize Pages".

3.  Delete Pages: Once you've selected the pages to delete, click the delete icon in the toolbar. The pages won't disappear immediately; they'll be grayed out and removed upon download.

4. Undo Deletion: If you change your mind about deleting any pages, simply click on the grayed-out pages again and click the delete icon to restore them.

2. Delete by Splitting and Removing Documents

This method involves splitting the document into two or more parts and then deleting the sections you don't need. Learn how to split a document here.

To delete a document:

  1. Click the Document Icon: Located at the top left.
  2. Select the Document: Choose the document you want to delete.
  3. Delete the Document: Click the three dots and then select "Delete".
